The Gretsch 6.5" x 14" USA Metal Chrome Over Brass Snare Drum brings out a crisp, powerful attack with accentuated frequencies thanks to the chrome plating. This drum mixes in the studio very well, requiring little work from you or the sound guy to make it sound great with everybody else.

All USA Metal snare drums are equipped with the Lightning throw-off , die-cast hoops that create intensely strong rimshots, and a snap-in key holder so you're never more than an arm's length away from a drum key.

This model is also fitted with 42-strand snappy snare wires for an extra sizzly response. A knurled, gear-like pattern along the equator of the shell gives this drum a touch of individuality.
